Richmond International Raceway Crit, Richmond, VA, March 20, 2011
A bittersweet day for the team. Dan Baur and Jason Mogensen raced the 3/4 event finishing 24th and 41st. Paige Harry did great racing her third event in the combined women's event finishing about 8th. The tough part was the Cat 5's which started well, but both Spencer Holland and Chris Syrrist were caught up in a crash that stopped the race. Chris was fine, but his bike was in pieces. The ambulance was on the course tending to Spencer who was covered in road rash, but somehow his bike fared better than Chris'. Chris grabbed Jason Mogensen's bike, got back into the race and won it. Chris is happy to say farewell to Cat 5, with his 10th race under his belt.
