Giordana Crossroads Classic, August 3-7
Ben Frederick and Justin Meade raced the first two events of the Giordana Crossroads Classic Cat 3 event in Concord and Salisbury, NC on the 3rd and 4th. Justin continued racing the remainder of the omnium through Sunday. Ben finished 4th in the Concord race on Wednesday and grabbed first on Thursday after Justin made a breakaway that didn't last, but did manage to wear down the competition and gave Ben the chance to break away on the last two laps to win the night's event. Justin continued the omnium and pulled out a second place win in the Friday event in Statesville. Justin took 9th overall in the omnium and Ben Frederick managed 14th with only two days racing.
