Kazane Working Man's Series Criteriums, June 22-24, 2010
Ryan Hartman and Marshall Walden make their first appearance in this three-race series in the scorching 100+ degree heat of Bryan Park in the middle of downtown Richmond. The first race was a 4/5/ event with 18 laps. Dave Cobb and Marshall raced and Marshall finished around 15th among a group of 40. Ryan was unable to make it to the first race but showed up for the second race to finish 8th, while Marshall hung on in the peloton with a 20th place finish.
For the last day, Marshall broke a couple of spokes during his warmup and Dave sacrificed his bike. The race was faster than the previous two days and Marshall was pulled from the race just three laps before the finish. Still a great showing for a first time out, and racing against 4's and 5's.
