South Carolina State Championship Road Race, August 29, 2009
Ryan Ken and Dave went to Greenville South Carolina to race the SC State RR championships and visit with Scott Grimshaw, a new Greenville resident. Scott and his wife Val were gracious hosts and introduced us to all their neighbors. On Friday evening, after arriving at the Grimshaw's house we went for a spin in Montebello where they live and a homeowner waved us down. It was George Hincapie and we spoke for a few minutes about the area and riding in the mountains. In the race on Saturday, Ken finished 16th and Ryan was caught up n a crash at the finish line and finished 44th
